Verse 1 · Spring

Hej, hej! The snow is gone,
Out comes Annika, boots are on!
Dig, dig, dig, down, down she goes,
And in the ground she plants a rose.

Chorus

Grow, grow, Annika’s rose,
Drip, drop, and up it goes!
Sun on your leaves and rain on your head,
Grow, grow, little rose so red!

Verse 2 · Summer

Summer sun stays up so late,
One red rose, oh, it looks great!
Flowers in her hair so bright,
Dansa, dansa, Midsummer night!

Verse 3 · Autumn

Apples red up in the tree,
Fika time for you and me.
Leaves fall down, the wind blows cold,
Pelle sleeps in red and gold.

Bridge · Winter

Snow, snow, so soft and white,
Lucia’s crown is shining bright.
Sleep, little rose, beneath the snow,
Spring will come and you will grow.

Verse 4 · Spring again

Hej, hej! The snow is gone,
Pelle wakes up with a yawn.
Look, look! A little bud,
Peeking up out of the mud!

Ending

Ros, ros, that’s rose, you know!
Grow, grow, Annika’s rose!

Vers 1 · Vår

Hej, hej! Nu är vintern slut,
Annika i stövlar springer ut!
Gräv, gräv, gräv, ner i jorden går,
där hon sätter ner en ros i vår.

Refräng

Väx, väx, Annikas ros,
Pelle nosar med sin nos!
Dripp, dropp, regnet faller ner,
väx, väx, lilla ros, lite mer!

Vers 2 · Sommar

Solen lyser hela natten lång,
en röd ros och en sommarsång.
Blomsterkrans i håret på,
dansa, dansa runt stången då!

Vers 3 · Höst

Röda äpplen, en, två, tre,
fika, bulle, saft och te!
Löven faller, röda, gula,
Pelle sover i sin kula.

Brygga · Vinter

Snö, snö, mjuk och vit,
Lucia kommer med ljus hit.
Sov, lilla ros, under snön,
våren kommer, ljus och grön.

Vers 4 · Våren igen

Hej, hej! Nu är vintern slut,
Pelle gäspar och tittar ut.
Titta, titta! En liten knopp
som tittar upp ur jorden, hopp!

Slut

Ros, ros – rose på engelska!
Väx, väx, Annikas ros!
